A genuine Swedish Army LK35 military rucksack in excellent hardly used condition. The LK35 is a classic Scandinavian military pack, well known for its exceptionally simple, rugged construction and distinctive external metal frame.

Originally designed for the Swedish Armed Forces, the LK35 was intended to carry a soldier's essential field equipment. Its approximately 35-litre capacity makes it a practical size for bushcraft, hiking, wild camping, day trips and general outdoor use without the bulk of a full-size expedition bergen.

This example is the later synthetic version, manufactured from extremely durable 1000-denier PU-coated synthetic material in olive green. The hard-wearing pack is mounted to a strong external metal frame, helping the rucksack retain its shape while keeping the main load away from the wearer's back.

The external frame incorporates a lower loading shelf, allowing additional or awkward equipment to be secured to the frame. The pack itself can also be removed from the frame, making the frame useful for carrying suitable bulky equipment separately.

A simple metal ladder-lock adjustment system is used rather than relying on modern plastic buckles. The shoulder straps are adjustable, while the suspended or 'free-floating' back arrangement creates a gap between the pack and the wearer's back, helping airflow during use.

The LK35 deliberately uses a straightforward military design rather than numerous external pockets and zips. The result is a robust, uncomplicated rucksack that has become particularly popular with bushcraft and military-surplus enthusiasts.

Condition

This particular rucksack is in excellent used condition with very little apparent use.

There is some deterioration/breakdown to the foam at the bottom of the frame. Please study the photographs carefully, as they form part of the condition description.

As genuine military surplus, minor storage marks, age-related wear and cosmetic signs of previous service should be expected.
