De Wolf Bushcraft C.I.C.

De Wolf Bushcraft CIC has been primarily set up to offer a sanctuary project retreat for emergency service workers, NHS staff and similar organisations.Those who feel they have, or are dealing with burnout, morale injury and/or PTSD.I offer a hammock, a camp fire, wild swimming and bushcraft and primitive skills to those who feel they would benefit from it all set in tranquil ancient woodland setting around the South-West region of Lake Windemere- Lake District.By using proven benefits of natural woodland and tranquil outdoor settings we aim to improve mental health, physical health and wellbeing.The aim is to raise funding to keep the cost at low to nothing for those who qualify to attend .As a CIC (community interest company) I will also run private and corporate courses to help raise funds to put back into the sanctuary project to give to those the CIC serves.

Rancho experiences

Andy Hall- Andy's Outings Bushcraft 'N' Foraging

At Andys Outings I've been teaching private bushcraft and foraging sessions, on and off site since 2018, teaching schools.I've been working at my local community center, for Durham activity day unit helping people recover from strokes and brain injurys. I also work with the scout leaders of County Durham teaching them a whole range of skills for them to pass on to the scouts, cubs, beavers of County Durham.I offer foraging courses, plant identification, Bushcraft courses, woodland and trapping courses. Dean Millard - Feral Yamyam Bushcraft School

I am a serving reserve soldier having been in service for 16 years. I decided to start my school in 2015 after teaching survival skills in my squadron. At Feral Yamyam Bushcraft we currenlty teach both civilian and military personnel.

Our courses are varied and we offer Bushcraft courses from basic to advanced, Civilian survival courses from basic to advanced, our Pathfinder survival course which is for civilians but modeled from the military syllabus.

.We also teach a variety of craft courses including green working, blacksmithing, copper working, tanning, and we also run a heritage course which includes woodland management, coppicing and its related crafts.
